Item Description
The Master Flow 6 in. Starting Collar has a snap-together design for easy assembly. This starting collar can be used to transition from a flat surface such as a lined or duct board plenum to round pipe or insulated flexible ducts. Can also be attached to metal surfaces. Made of galvanized steel, this starting collar is made for durability. The 2 in. space between the bead and flange provides you with plenty of space for securing an insulated flexible duct.

Not a tight fit. I can make a starter collar of better quality. I would recommend making one out of a 6 inch pipe versus purchasing this one.

I used this item to transition from an exterior wall exhaust fan to an interior kitchen vent cover- worked well. Well worth the price along with acceptable quality.

Used the collar as a connection between the six inch smoke stack and a newly constructed maple syrup cooker. The collar connected to the flat side of the cooker using the tabs and outside using the flange. The tabs bend into place and remained tight thru out the syrup season. I highly recommend using this collar for almost any type of 6 inch connection
