#4 Hand Woven Belt Sash Hat Band Cuanajo Purepecha Michoacan Mexico Peasant Boho

I purchased a number of these wonderful hand woven Belts on a recent trip to
Michoacan
Mexico.  This belt is a lovely
color combination of Royal Blue, White, Red, and Lime Green,
it was made in the
Purepecha community of
Cuanajo in Michoacan.
The belt itself has been hand woven on a Back Strap Loom, where the designs are woven in while the belt is created.  This is a very traditional clothing item for the Purepecha women, but you can wear it as a Belt, Ribbon or Hat Band!
The belt measures 2 7/8 inches wide by 54 inches long, not including the fringe.
Belts like this do not turn up often, so don't miss the opportunity to purchase this wonderful piece of Folk Art!!
