This is a great entry-level setup from beginners to intermediates who are looking for a ski with a strong heritage, but an easier to use personality. Based loosely on the measurements of the top-flight Deacon 76, the 7.6 has, you guessed it, a 76 mm waist width, and this is great for most all groomed and manicured terrain. They're built with a wood core, so even at a value price point, they still have the feel of an upper-level ski. At 76 mm underfoot, you get enough torsional stiffness to make for some strong grip on firm snow and ice, and this gives you better confidence to drive into the turn in order to get some of the best possible chances of advancing and progressing through the levels. They're light, fun, and easy to use, and the shape allows for a greater deal of versatility than they may let on. They are wider than a lot of beginner skis, and this gives you more of a platform to balance on in a variety of conditions and terrain. In the 168 cm length, these skis generate a 15-meter turn radius, which puts more of the emphasis on the skier and their desire to make a shorter or longer turn. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
